A testament to its Scottish heritage, the town of Elora stands proud among the towering pines and glacial rock formations of the Grand River Valley - a designated heritage river - and the towering canyon that is the Elora Gorge. Integral to the 80-foot gorges of the Grand and Irvine Rivers are winding limestone caverns and a majestic waterfall.
Elora's quaint downtown is noted for its picturesque streetscape, art galleries, boutiques and comfortable B&Bs. The Elora Mill, a charming country inn, sits dramatically upon an outcrop, high above the thundering falls. Originally a 19th century gristmill, the building survived fires in 1859 and 1870, and is today the only five-story mill of its type in Ontario.
For 25 years this picturesque town has hosted The Elora Festival, one of Southern Ontario's most popular music events. Its rural setting provides a scenic backdrop for classical and contemporary music, with an emphasis on choral works, and artists from around the world come to perform their works in the intimate village churches and on-stage at the Gambrel Barn.
It is all of these features which has lead Finoro Homes to Elora.
Bringing their rich understanding of small town living, Finoro Homes has now released Phase 1 of their newest community, Trailside, which will offer new executive town homes and semi designs, along with single homes on lots up to 50' wide.
